TLC Yoga started with a few students and one generous donor. Now several students attend consistently, they invite others, and some practice on their own! In 2022 we had a successful crowdsourced fundraiser and we are now officially a nonprofit organization. The plan is to grow slowly and carefully, but we are happy to report that we're currently expanding to two new communities in Atlanta!

Community Partners

  • In the beginning I thought people were not receiving what I was giving. I learned that it takes a minute for people who live on the streets to let you in and to trust you. Now they see me as a member of their community and they keep coming to class and recommending the class to others and it's a whole beautiful thing. I am so happy I kept it up — mostly because the students keep commenting on how much the practice helps them. That's the important thing.
